A unique environment that allows the breeding of exceptional animals

Our pigs are raised in the foothills of the Sierra de Gredos, surrounded by Mediterranean forests, holm oaks, cork oaks and groans. They feed on wild grasses in spring and summer and on acorns during the fattening season in autumn and winter.

All our Iberian pigs are directly controlled by us.
Thanks to this, year after year, we are carrying out genetic control work to enhance the natural properties of this wonderful species. In our farms we raise different breeds of Iberian pigs, guaranteeing the perpetuity of all breeds and their settlement in the Salamanca pasture.

our livestock
Our acorn-fed pigs are fed exclusively on natural resources, grasses and of course acorns on our farms. While our fattening pigs are fed with first quality cereals such as wheat, soybean, corn or barley.

The standard
of the Iberian

Iberian products in Spain are governed by the Iberian standard, which determines the basic characteristics in terms of the percentage of Iberian breed of pigs and their feed. In all our products you will find the following official standard seals that guarantee the origin and feeding of our pigs.

At CĂ©sar Nieto we can proudly say that we are the original Iberian of Guijuelo.
